oh right, art.
today i was thinking about my life in college.
besides getting stoned @ friends houses & in the mountains, i spent my days studying artists & working for hours in the studio. i really cared about art; was obsessed with it. somehow i have lost the drive to go to museums & galleries often, create art, read about emerging artists & masters of the past.
sooo...
i thought i would revisit the sculptures of eva hesse.
in her 30s she proved herself to the male dominated 1960s new york art scene.
she humanized minimalism... organic through shape & texture.
one of my all time favorites.
